Mr. Eric Dennis

Greetings, and welcome to Conestoga Elementary School website.  My name is Eric Dennis and this is my 17th year as Conestoga Elementary principal.  I am honored to serve as principal of such an exciting learning community.

Conestoga Elementary is a Pre-School through sixth grade school.  As a staff we are committed to excellence in education for every child.  Our curriculum is strong and focuses on the core subjects of Reading, Language Arts, Mathematics, Science, and Social Studies.  In addition, the students will have instruction in Music, Physical Education, and Art. 

To help inspire and prepare our students for life, our teachers use differentiated instruction to meet the variety of learning styles of the children in their classrooms.  We also have an established Mutli-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) model to provide high quality instruction to students using reliable and valid data to make decisions about whether instruction is meeting students’ needs.

Conestoga Elementary values the use of technology in the classroom. Each classroom has a Promethean Board.  Third through sixth grade are one to one iPads that remain at school and K-2 has a shared iPad cart for each grade level.  

Conestoga Elementary is fortunate to have an outstanding PTO. They consistently go above and beyond in their efforts to support students and staff. Through their active participation they have provided our school with books for our library, new playground equipment, materials for every classroom, quality family events, and so much more. I commend the efforts of the PTO and encourage additional participation from other members of our community.
