Inclement Weather/School Cancellation

Yes, it's hard to believe, but it is time to begin thinking about winter weather . . .

All Conestoga families will receive a telephone call as a result of our new telephone notification system.  The system will be utilized to notify parents of  school cancellations, student attendance, and other announcements and emergency situations.  Each Conestoga family will receive a call in the event that school is canceled or dismissed early.  The system will also call when a student is absent, and the school has not been notified.  Please make sure the school offices have your current telephone information.

School cancellations, late starts, etc. will still be broadcast on Radio Stations KFAB AM (1100) Omaha,  KNCY AM (1600) Nebraska City, and KGBI FM (100.7) Omaha..  Local television stations (3, 6, 7) will also be used.  As in previous years, we ask that you please do not call school administrators or other personnel at home, as this can tie up phone lines and prevent them from making necessary calls.

In addition, a button entitled "Cancellations" is available on the front page of the Conestoga website.  (Also available at www.cancellations.com )  Clicking on this button and entering the school zip code (68409) will enable you to view cancellations for our school district.  There is also an option to be notified via e-mail from the cancellations.com website.
