The High School Media Center
The media center under went a major make over this past summer. A big thanks has to go out to the custodial staff. They removed all the books and books shelves to make way for new carpeting. They also cleaned up the old pit area and removed the old carpeting to allow the construction workers to fill it up with sand and concrete over it.
We have had added the middle school books and computers last year to the library. At the present time between the two schools we now have in excess of 12,000 books and 46 computers.
The library subscribes to several data bases. These include eLibrary, Proquest, CQReseacher, and the K-12 Teaching & Learning Center. These databases contain magazines, newspapers, transcripts, approved websites, and other types of data. They are very helpful in learning how to research and will be tools that will be used in college.
