Welcome Back to
School!
We had a great turnout for the Back to School Swim Party on Aug.
25th. Nearly 200 Conestoga students and family members
enjoyed a great evening at the Twin River Water
Park in Plattsmouth.
Thanks for coming.
A huge Thank You to all the parent and student volunteers who
sweated and worked to prepare the elementary school grounds for the
first day of school: Mike, Linda, Liz and Ellen Rice;
Trinity, Mason and Cameron Jensen; Jean, Connor and Adam Parette;
Patty and David Clawson; Mrs. Myrtue; Mr and Mrs Dennis; Mark
Weilage; Wendy, Hannah, Elizabeth and Grace Lowe; William
Cutler; Scott, Peggy, Claire and Cooper Moore. Thank you also to Scott and Linda Sparks for
donating and delivering sand for the sandbox.

Cougar Tracks Kick-off Pep Rally
- Sept 4th 2:45pm
Cougar Tracks is pedometer fitness program for
4th, 5th & 6th grade students. Permission forms have been
sent home.
Conestoga Elementary PTO Meeting
- Tonight - Sept 4th 7:00-8:00pm
in the Elementary Library. Free childcare
provided. Come to learn about the upcoming activities for the
year.
Fall Fundraiser Begins - Friday,
Sept. 7th
Our goal is to raise $8,000 for additional
outdoor playground/fitness equipment for our students.
Friendly sales to friends, neighbors and relatives are
encouraged. Please no door-to-door sales to unknown
customers. The cookie dough is great and our biggest
seller.
Parent Teacher Conferences - Sept
26 & 27
Conestoga families donate food for the teachers
and staff to eat after school during the extended day.
Mimi's Pizza Sale during Parent Teacher Conference
Back by popular demand! Don't worry
about dinner during conferences. Watch for pre-order
forms coming soon. On Sept 26 & 27 pick-up your ready to bake
pizza and lasagna at school to take home, bake and serve your
family at home
