Pre-Option Procedures
The board of education encourages parents and legal guardians who are considering submitting an application to another school district�s board pursuant to the Enrollment Option Program, NEB.REV.STAT. ��79-232 et.seq. (2007), to arrange a tour of Conestoga Public Schools with the superintendent of schools or other administrator before submitting such application.
The board will not waive the application or approval deadline set forth in NEB. REV. STAT. �79-237 (2007) for a parent or legal guardian unless such parent or legal guardian has toured Conestoga Public Schools with the superintendent of schools or other administrator.
This policy shall not limit the board�s right to refuse to waive the application or approval deadline set forth in NEB. REV. STAT. �79-237 (2007) for any other reason.
