Thanks & Congratulations for
the week:
Congratulations to 8th grade students for their graduation from
junior high. We look forward to having all of you in the high
school next year.
Congratulations to the 7th and 8th grades for all their academic
and athletic awards. We are very proud of each of you.
Congratulations to the Freshman Class. They won the IBM contest at
the high school level. They will be traveling to the zoo for their
field trip. Thanks to Mr. Snodgrass, Mrs. McHenry, Mr. Webster, and
Ms. Teidman for sponsoring this trip for the students
Thank you to the junior high teachers for sponsoring the Junior
High IBM field trip to the Royals Game. Thanks to the junior high
students for their awesome behavior and representation of our
school at the stadium.
Nice job to the High School Choir
and Band students for their awesome behavior and representation of
our school at the Orpheum. Thanks to Collin Warren for arranging
this tour for our students
Congratulations to the 7th grade,
6th grade and 5th grade DI teams that were selected to perform at
Global Competition. They will be traveling to Knoxville, TN in May.
Good luck and way to go Conestoga.
Thanks to Mr. Anderson for taking
our FFA officers team to the COLT conference. Students attending
will be Kalby Wehrbein, Cory Schlichtemeier, Denae Martin, Carly
Johns, Sammie Drake, Shannon King, and Adam Johns. Good luck and
have fun at the COLT conference.
Thanks to the Booster Club for sponsoring and awesome Athletic
Banquet. We appreciate all the hard work to make sure that this
evening was a success.

Information:
• Summer Information: Students interested in signing up for Drivers
Ed may do so in the office. Classroom dates will be June 2 thru
June 6 from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm. Behind the wheel time will be June
3 thru June 27th. Cost to students will be $295. There is a deposit
of $150 due at time of sign up. Please direct any questions to the
office.
• Arts Alive Talent show will be on May 20th at 6:30 pm
• May 19th will be 8th Grade Graduation beginning at 6:15 pm. We
will do an Awards ceremony for 7th grade at 3:00 pm the same
day.
• We will be having Summer School available for junior high and
high school students this summer. Dates for summer school are June
9th through June 27th. It will run from 8:00 am till 11:00 am.
Students who need credit recovery need to speak to Mrs. Urton or
Mrs. Leifeld.
