Descriptions of Conestoga Assessments
Classroom CRT’s-are classroom assessments that measure the state standards. These teacher developed tests, show the relationship between curriculum and instruction and are presented after skills have been taught. They allow for mastery level. They provide evidence of individual growth and are currently given in grades K-12 for language arts, math, science, an social studies.
State Writing Assessment – the Nebraska assessment that focuses on the Six Trait Writing Process. Students are assessed in the 4, 8, and 11grades and use a writing prompt which is reviewed and scored by trained individuals.
Districts then use the results to determine student progress toward the state writing standards.
Terra Nova-is a Standardized Assessment that compares a group of students with a same grade and age reference group to provide a comparative ranking.
DIBELS-are assessments to measure early literacy development.
Fluency-is an assessment to measure adolescent literacy development
OLSAT- Standardized intelligence test in math and reading.
